Hello, I’m Jen: Mother, Fortune 500 Recruitment Director, Lifestyle Blogger, and Career Coach. In 2019, I created She Takes Five to share my healthy lifestyle explorations. Over 10 years ago, I was living a fast-paced life in NYC when I experienced chronic illness and corporate burnout simultaneously. I was 26 and didn’t put a lot of thought into properly taking care of myself or creating balance. Thankfully, with the help of integrative doctors, and self-education I was able to regain my health.
Since then, I’ve made it my mission to slow down and live more purposely. Today I’ve built a life that allows me to balance motherhood and my career dreams. It’s not always perfect but over the years I’ve made powerful shifts in how I live my life and learned how to incorporate sustainable healthy habits into my daily routine.
Through the blog, I share practical wellness and lifestyle content plus tips from our community features. Lastly, I regularly run coaching programs to help women pivot their careers to achieve more fulfilling, balanced lives.
